Ph. Eur. Issue 13.2 is now available

The European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) Issue 13.2 is now available as part of the British Pharmacopoeia (BP) 2027 online edition. This in-year update can be accessed by using existing credentials.
Included in Issue 13.2:
Two new general chapters and five new monographs, which come into force on 1 April 2027, including:
- New general chapter on Evaporative light-scattering detection (2.2.62)
- New general chapter on Bacteriophage potency determination (2.7.38)
- New herbal drug monographs for Fritillaria cirrhosa bulb (2586), Mint haplocalyx herb (3191), and Spine date seed (2613)
- New monographs for Alectinib hydrochloride (3219) and Alectinib hydrochloride capsules (3220)
Revisions to 13 general chapters and a range of monographs, including:
- Updates to Atomic emission spectrometry (2.2.22) and Particle size analysis by dynamic light scattering (2.9.50)
- Updates to herbal drugs and herbal drug preparations, including Peppermint leaf (0406) and Peppermint leaf dry extract (2382)
Reagent updates, including:
- Five new reagents
- Five modified reagents
Corrected texts which need to be taken into account no later than 31 August 2026, including:
- Two general chapters
- Six monographs (including general monographs)

The texts of Ph. Eur. Issue 13.2 will become legally effective on 1 April 2027. Corrections should be applied by 31 August 2026.
