The United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) and the British Pharmacopoeia (BP) held a virtual joint workshop on the “Real World Application of Analytical Quality by Design and Analytical Procedure Life Cycle Management” between 30 September and 1 October 2021.
In this workshop, we focused on the use of Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) concepts across the Analytical Procedure Life Cycle (APLC). We brought together industry, regulatory, and pharmaceutical experts to share information, experiences, and case studies. These stakeholders have a shared mission: to ensure that analytical methods are fit for purpose and that the medicines provided to patients are high-quality, safe, and efficacious.
