Proposed monographs for omission from the BP 2022

The British Pharmacopoeia is taking steps to ensure that the publication remains relevant and comprehensive. As part of this work, several monographs included in the BP 2021 publications have been proposed for omission due to the lack of UK based Marketing Authorisation Holders and low usage within the UK. 

The monographs proposed for omission from the BP 2022 are:

Colistin Tablets

Etodolac Capsules

Norfloxacin Tablets

The BP is used in many countries and we welcome feedback from national and international stakeholders regarding the proposed omissions. Monographs omitted from the BP 2022 publications will remain available within the BP Archive, which is accessible via the BP Online publication.
