New customer rules in Egypt


CargoX is the mandatory platform for submitting shipment documentation for certain consignments to Egypt. You must use CargoX if your shipment meets either of the following criteria: 

  • the order value is £1600 or more; or
  • the shipment weight is 50kg or more.

If your order meets either requirement, please: 

  1. Register for a CargoX account if you have not already done so.
  2. Create a new entry (envelope) in CargoX. An ACID number will be generated.
  3. Email the ACID number to BPCRS@mhra.gov.uk .

During this process, you may be asked to enter the MHRA CargoX account details. Please use:

Please note: If your shipment does not meet either of the above criteria, you do not need to use CargoX.
