Revision History and Tracked Changes

Understand changes to monographs quickly, easily and with confidence

The BP is a comprehensive collection of authoritative official standards for UK pharmaceutical substances and medicinal products. It also contains all texts and monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia.

Our users told us that keeping track of changes to monographs and understanding why these changes have been made was important to them*. As part of our work to provide innovative services which meet your needs, we have released two new features, which help you understand both how, and why, monographs have changed.

Revision History:

  • Our Revision History feature allows you to understand why changes have been made to a monograph and see how these changes affect your work.

Handy tip: to view a clear and concise list of changes for a particular edition, toggle the Revision History feature on the integrated timeline panel.

Tracked Changes:

  • Tracked Changes functionality saves you time when reading through monographs, by showing you which changes have been made.

Handy tip: to quickly see the information that has changed in a monograph, toggle the Revision History feature.

Our short video explains in more detail how these new features work to help you do your job quickly, more easily and with confidence:
