Invitation to become an expert adviser to the British Pharmacopoeia Commission
The British Pharmacopoeia Commission (BPC) is currently seeking new members for their Expert Advisory Groups, Panels of Experts and Working Parties. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the monograph development process and the production of quality standards for medicines, an important part of protecting public health. We need our experts to keep the BP relevant, accurate and up to date so that we can continue to provide high quality standards that can be used in the UK and beyond.
Further information on the Expert Advisory Groups, Panels of Experts and Working Parties and the role of members can be found here.
Appointments would initially be for a 4-year term, with the possibility of re-appointment, and would start from 1 January 2024.
If you are interested in joining one or more of our Expert Advisory Groups, Panels or Working Parties, please send a completed expression of interest form and your CV to bpcom@mhra.gov.uk. The deadline for responses is 8 October 2023.
Please note, all expressions of interest will be carefully reviewed by the BP Secretariat and the BP Commission. Letters of invitation will be sent to successful individuals towards the end of the year.
