New Members sought for the British Pharmacopoeia Commission
The British Pharmacopoeia Commission is currently looking to appoint up to 6 new members with effect from 1st January 2024. This includes both professional members and lay members.
For the professional roles you should be at a senior or board level in the pharmaceutical industry, academia or the hospital service and should have an understanding of the purpose and function of a pharmacopoeia and its place in the overall regulatory system.
For the lay member roles, you should have an awareness of the British Pharmacopoeia, but will not be an expert in the field. You will be able to provide a non-specialist contribution to the discussions, thereby providing a different view from the professional members.
All members must comply with the MHRA Code of Practice on Identifying, Declaring and Managing Interests.
