Proposed monographs for omission from the BP 2021 and BP (Vet) 2021

The British Pharmacopoeia is taking steps to ensure that the publication remains relevant and comprehensive. As part of this work, several monographs included in the BP 2020 editions have been put forward for omission due to the lack of UK based Marketing Authorisation Holders and low usage within the UK. 

The full list of monographs proposed for omission can be found here. 

To ensure that adequate consultation is undertaken with our stakeholders, you are invited to provide feedback on whether these monographs should be omitted from the BP 2021. Input from our stakeholders at this stage is important so that the use of these monographs both nationally and internationally can be considered prior to publication. 

Monographs omitted from the BP 2021 publications will remain available within the BP Archive, accessible via the BP Online.
